Research Basis

Role.Fit assessment has been build on the O*NET content model. O*NET is an occupational database that provides detailed taxonomy of careers, attributes and data collated from several industries and individuals.

The design and validation of its usefulness in an international context is part of a doctoral thesis, publication in an international career decision making journal and as conference papers. Key enhancements include a detailed multi trait assessment tool that includes a self assessment of individual traits as well as job design parameters. The assessment includes design of a workstyle scale and customization of other scales for operating in a multi cultural context. Data has been collected from over 10,000 participants (students and professionals) for customizing and validating the different elements of the proposed framework since 2013.
